The Coral Princess arrived in Darwin this week, bringing over 2500 passengers and crew, officially kicking off the NT’s cruise season. Arriving from Cairns and en route to the stunning Kimberley coast, she’s the first large ship of the season, well ahead of the usual October start.

And that’s just the beginning! On Sunday, we’ll welcome the Carnival Splendour, fresh from a refurbishment in Singapore, with up to 3,000 passengers and 1,100 crew set to explore our tropical city.

This season will see a record-breaking 113 ships docking in Darwin, with an estimated 80,000 passengers, including two large cruise ships carrying over 4,000 passengers each.

Get ready for a bustling, vibrant cruise season in the Top End!
