2025 Drive Campaign Overview
A road trip to the Northern Territory is like no other. It’s an opportunity to reconnect while discovering some of Australia’s most extraordinary natural wonders. In 2025, a national drive campaign will inspire Australians to “road trip differently” in the Northern Territory, showcasing the Territory’s unique landscapes and experiences. The campaign encourages travellers to explore both the Top End and Red Centre.
The campaign focuses on the fly/drive and caravan and camping self-drive markets, highlighting the vast offerings of the Northern Territory. From iconic destinations like Uluru and Kakadu to the rugged beauty of Litchfield and beyond, the campaign brings to life the NT’s diverse experiences.
Running from February to June 2025, the campaign integrates paid media, on-ground support at Australian caravan and camping shows, public relations, and trade partnerships. It will also drive traffic to ATDW (Australian Tourism Data Warehouse) listings on northernterritory.com, ensuring strong reach among road trip enthusiasts across Australia.
A national competition will be part of the campaign, engaging road trip lovers and building a highly targeted database of travellers interested in exploring the NT. This follows a successful lead-generation initiative that delivered over 15,000 caravan and camping-specific leads, enabling ongoing re-targeting and conversion opportunities.
Campaign Partners
The campaign is being delivered in collaboration with Tourism NT, Tourism Top End, Tourism Central Australia, the Caravan Industry Association of Australia (CIAA), and key national travel partners NT Now, THL, Travel Auctions and CamperMate. These partners help amplify the campaign’s message and reach road trip enthusiasts across Australia.
