Record number of Brolga Award nominations in five years!

The Brolga Awards recognise excellence across all areas of business operations within the NT’s tourism industry. Winning a Brolga Award positions businesses with the opportunity to secure a coveted Australian Tourism Award in 2025, further showcasing the Territory's outstanding contributions on a national stage. In addition to businesses, the awards also honour individuals who make exceptional contributions to the NT's tourism landscape, fostering continuous improvement and innovation across the sector.

With a 37-year history, the Brolga Awards continue to reflect the diversity, vitality, and innovation within the Northern Territory’s tourism industry. Judging will now commence across 26 business categories, ranging from Tourism Attractions to Business Event Venues, Tourism Restaurants and Catering Services, and more.

Executive Director, Industry Development at Tourism NT, Valerie Smith said the Brolga Awards are the highest honours in the NT tourism industry.

"The awards not only celebrate success locally but offer recipients the opportunity to represent the Northern Territory and showcase their achievements on a national stage,” she said.

“The awards are a fantastic opportunity to recognise excellence with industry peers and I look forward to celebrating the tremendous contribution our tourism and hospitality operators make to the NT later this year.”

Finalists will be celebrated at the industry's night of nights at the 2024 Brolga Northern Territory Tourism Awards gala dinner to be held in Alice Springs on Saturday, 9 November.
