New flights to Alice Springs

The twice-weekly return service will operate on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 19 June 2018.
The route will provide an important new connection point for both domestic and international visitors to the Red Centre.
It will double current Brisbane to Alice Springs services to four a week, while helping to put downward pressure on airfares.
The NT Government has recently announced a $10.85 million investment into cooperative marketing with airlines including Virgin, as part of the Turbocharging Tourism economic stimulus package.
This cooperative marketing activity will see promotions and other initiatives interstate to encourage holiday visitation to Alice Springs and the Northern Territory.
Flights between Brisbane and Alice Springs will go on sale from midday today and can be booked on www.virginaustralia.com
