Funding available to improve the visitor experience

Positive customer reviews, whether from locals or visitors, are crucial to the ongoing success and growth of Territory tourism and hospitality.
Grants awarded under the program have been used to support a range of projects that customers want including new air conditioning, kitchen upgrades, improved lighting, solar projects and reinvigorated pool and outdoor hospitality areas.
Applicants able to demonstrate the greatest need for visitor enhancement, through customer feedback, will be given priority.
The Northern Territory Government has provided $6 million to 239 businesses for projects over the past four funding rounds with private enterprise investing an additional $15 million towards their projects.
This grant complements the opening of the second Roadhouse to Recovery grant program last week. Roadhouse to Recovery grants are designed to bolster the customer experience of our remote Territory remote roadhouses, wayside inns and remote caravan parks.
Round five applications close on 30 August 2021 with successful applicants to complete projects by 30 April 2022.
