Cruising full steam ahead

With a passenger capacity of 2,670, the Diamond Princess is one of 22 ships scheduled to visit Darwin from now until May 2018.

In exciting news, Darwin is now being promoted as a cruise port destination where passengers can embark or disembark and undertake Top End tours.

This is a great development for the local tourism industry, creating pre-cruise or post-cruise accommodation and touring opportunities throughout the Top End.

Meanwhile, a range of activities are currently being planned for the arrival of larger cruise ships such as the Queen Mary 2 (Saturday 17 March), Ovation of the Seas (Tuesday 3 April) and new luxury Chinese liner, the Majestic Princess (8 September 2018).
