AFL action heading to the NT in 2017

Melbourne Demons Team Playing in Alice Springs
The Northern Territory will host two Toyota AFL Premiership games in 2017 following the announcement of the AFL fixture today.

Both games will feature the Melbourne Football Club as part of the Northern Territory Government's partnership with the club to bring AFL to the Top End and Central Australian through to 2018.

The Demons will host the Gold Coast Suns in Alice Springs as a twilight game on Saturday 27 May, as part of Sir Doug Nicholls Indigenous Round in round 10.

It will then host the Adelaide Crows in Darwin as a night game on Saturday 15 July, in round 17.

Both games are expected to sell-out with hundreds of fans traveling to the Northern Territory to combine a holiday with the chance to watch their favourite team in action in a unique setting.
