Short Term Accommodation Review

As part of the review, local tourism operators are invited to share their thoughts on short-term private accommodation, such as properties on Airbnb, and traditional commercial accommodation including hotels and hostels.

Responses will form an important part of the first comprehensive review into accommodation in the Northern Territory since the inception of platforms such as Airbnb, Stayz and booking.com.

The review, which involves a short survey, will provide Government with a better understanding of the short-term accommodation market and inform future policy to improve the visitor experience in the NT to encourage further economic growth.
