Countdown to Darwin World Cup Game

Rugby League legend, Mal Meninga, has called on sports fans to travel to Darwin for November's World Cup Quarter Final.

The famous coach of the Australian Rugby League team stars in a new video clip produced by Tourism NT promoting Darwin as a must-visit travel destination.

The Rugby League World Cup Quarter Final will be held in Darwin on the Friday 17 November 2017.

With Australia currently ranked number two in the world, it is likely the Kangaroos will feature in the game and play on Northern Territory soil for the first time.

A giant mural has also been unveiled in Darwin City celebrating the countdown to the highly anticipated Quarter Final clash, which is expected to attract an influx of visitors to town.

The Rugby League World Cup runs from 27 October to 2 December 2017.
