While the Better Homes and Gardens team visited the Taste of Kakadu event, with the episode set to air later in June.
The Territory episodes of Everyday Gourmet will see Schofield create delicious recipes using local ingredients while visiting local cafes, restaurants and markets.
Tourism NT will leverage the episodes to help promote the Territory as a ‘foodie destination’ and encourage visitors to book a holiday to the NT.
Schofield said Darwin’s food scene had grown considerably over the last five years.
"You’re getting the sense that there’s a really young fresh vibe right here now, there are all these amazing coffee places on up here now,” she said.
“The seafood down here is also on another level. Even talking to a captain on a boat bringing all the fish in, it was beautiful to see the freshness and the diversity of it.”
The Northern Territory segments of Everyday Gourmet are expected to air on Channel Ten in the coming months.
