A National Waste Policy Action Plan
The Action Plan implements targets in the 2018 National Waste Policy, including banning the export of waste plastic, paper, glass and tyres, reducing the total waste generated per person by 10% by 2030, thus halving the amount of organic waste sent to landfill by 2030, and phasing out problematic and unnecessary plastics by 2025.

Northern Territory Climate Change Response Towards 2050 provides a policy framework that will enable the NT to strategically manage climate change risk and opportunities. The Response identifies 4 key objectives to inform future actions and guide development of mitigation and adaptation strategies:

Biodiversity Offsets Policy is designed to compensate for impacts on biodiversity at one site by requiring conservation or restoration activities elsewhere. Avoiding or mitigating impacts to biodiversity is always preferred. However, when used appropriately, offsets can be a tool to help minimise environmental harm.
