One of the Territory’s most popular events, the BetEasy Darwin Triple Crown, will be held from 17 to 19 July 2020 with a new program.
Now in its 23rd year, the 2020 event will feature a new addition to the program: the Territory’s biggest drag race event ‘Nitro Up North’ on Saturday 18 July.
Making the most of changes to the Supercars calendar, the July date in 2020 will also allow teams and Motorsports fans to spend even more time in the Territory.
Fans are being urged to stay tuned for further announcements, including the headline acts for the Race and Rock Concert and other on-track action and entertainment for the whole family unique to the Darwin event.
Held at Hidden Valley racetrack, the BetEasy Darwin Triple Crown attracts around thousands of spectators from around Australia and injects $16 million into the local economy every year.
This iconic Dry Season event provides visitors and locals with three days of adrenaline-pumping action, supports local tourism and businesses and showcases Darwin on a national stage.
This year’s BetEasy Darwin Triple Crown attracted over 36,000 attendees and continues to be a major draw card for visitors to the Territory, with the 2020 event expected to be one of the biggest yet.
