Wayoutback Launches New 1 Day West MacDonnell Ranges Product
As the end of the year fast approaches, Wayoutback are pleased to announce the launch of their new 1 day West MacDonnell Ranges product in the Red Centre commencing early October 2017.
The tour will depart Alice Springs on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays and gives passengers a great opportunity to experience the mighty West MacDonnell Ranges for the day.
First up is hiking picturesque Ghost Gum Walk into the majestic Ormiston Gorge before spending time relaxing at the Ormiston Waterhole. We pay a visit to the World Heritage-listed Ochre Pits, a registered sacred site before enjoying a picnic lunch and afternoon swim at the spectacular Ellery Creek Big Hole.
Travel is in an air-conditioned 4WD vehicle with a maximum group size of 16 people and cost is a low $99 per person.

Dine on the Uluru Fork and View

The Rock Tour Camping Tours
Over the last 12 months The Rock Tour have invested in upgrading their 3 campsites at Curtin Springs, Ayers Rock and Kings Creek Station for their 2, 3 and 4 day camping tours. At the Curtin Springs Bush Camp, the shelters have been doubled in size and are now wet weather proof. Tents have been purchased for both Ayers Rock Campground and Kings Creek Station providing a free of charge alternative to a swag. Additionally, Ayers Rock Campground now has a wet weather shelter for the odd occasion of rain.
