'Parrtjima - A Festival In Light' Will Return In 2017!
Alice Springs will be aglow again this September as Parrtjima – A Festival in Light comes to life under the night sky. The authentic Indigenous light festival will illuminate more than 2.5km of the MacDonnell Ranges showcasing contemporary and tradition Indigenous art created by local artists.
After the success of 2016, with almost 16,000 patrons attending, the festival will return from 22 September to 1 October 2017. Running over 10 nights, the free event will showcase the oldest continuous culture on earth through the newest technology, using the 300-million-year-old landscape as a natural canvas.
'SEIT Patji - A True Aboriginal Experience' Back For Another Season From 1 April 2017
SEIT Outback Australia in partnership with Sammy Wilson from Uluru Family Tours offers visitors to Uluru the exclusive opportunity to join a traditional owner of Uluru on their homelands called ‘Patji’ and spend time learning about the oldest living culture in the world.
Visitors can now spend the afternoon exploring by 4WD with a local Aboriginal guide to gain an intimate and unique insight into Aboriginal life and culture in Central Australia. The day ends watching a beautiful sunset on a private Patji sand dune.
Now commencing its second season, ‘SEIT Patji’ operates Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 1 April to 31 October.

After a heavy wet season, Wildman Wilderness Lodge is officially open and it's a glorious time of the year up in the Top End!
In April 2017 Wildman Wilderness Lodge will introduce the new Dual Terrain Vehicles (DTV’) which are a combination of a tank, skateboard and motor cross bike and are designed to go everywhere! Also new to Wildman this season is a bush tucker walking tour, which we know will be fascinating.
Chef Michael is back and in full force, producing exquisite cuisine using locally sourced produce including wild caught barramundi perfectly fused with indigenous ingredients. Michael will also be rolling out a series of BBQ master classes so stay tuned for dates and times!

Guests then join a cruise on the East Alligator River with an Aboriginal guide by their side revealing local mythology, the river’s abundant food chain, traditional uses for many plants and animals and bush survival skills before returning overland, with a stop at the Bowali Visitor Centre, in time for sundowner drinks, canapes and the comfort of the safari lodge as the sun sets over Bamurru Plains.
