The TODAY show has broadcast its weather live from Darwin today as part of the Top End Wedding campaign.
Weatherman, Steve Jacobs, featured local wedding suppliers in live crosses throughout the morning, promoting Tourism NT's 'Win a Top End Wedding' competition.
The competition with Channel Nine is part of a multi-faceted tourism campaign designed to leverage off the huge interest in the new Aussie movie, Top End Wedding.
The local suppliers included a cake from The Chantilly Kitchen, wedding dresses from designer Sarina Cowcher featuring crocodile skin, George F Photography, boutique florist, Beija Flor and Darwin’s Horse and Carriage.
Territory actor, Rob Collins, who stars in the Top End Wedding movie, was also a guest on the show.
While in the Territory, the TODAY Show team will also broadcast weather segments live from Kakadu to help showcase the Top End as a wedding and honeymoon destination with a difference.
The lucky winner of the 'Win a Top End Wedding' competition will tie the knot in the Territory on 6 May, following the release of the Top End Wedding film on 2 May.
