Territory produce and the important role it plays in food tourism will be explored at an industry trade show this week.
Tourism NT has partnered with Hospitality NT to bring renowned gourmet farmer and chef, Matthew Evans, to speak at their annual Trade Week about food tourism.
The prominent chef will explore food provenance as well as lessons he has learned on his farm to table journey and how investing in local produce can help attract more foodie tourists to a destination.
The Trade Week forum spotlight on Territory produce is part of Tourism NT's ongoing partnership with Hospitality NT on the NT Signature Dish series, which will return in 2019.
The 2019 Signature Dish series will feature 50 dishes and drinks from local venues across the Territory that hero local produce.
