The Territory will be promoted as a must-do drive holiday at the inaugural Explorers Way New Experiences Roadshow in Europe.
Developed by Tourism NT in partnership with the South Australian Tourism Commission (SATC), the roadshow will visit London, Manchester, Zurich and Munich from 25 February to 2 March promoting the iconic Explorers Ways touring route.
The UK and Europe remain key international markets for Territory tourism and the roadshow aims to provide key product decision makers, Aussie Specialist agents and travel trade media with new and exciting reasons to sell the Northern Territory and South Australia to holidaymakers.
Over the six days, 10 South Australian and 10 Northern Territory tourism operators will meet with some 300 Product Managers, front line agents and media for one-on-one business meetings, training presentations and networking events.
Funded through the Territory Government’s $103 million Turbocharging Tourism stimulus package, the Explorers Way New Experiences Roadshow complements joint marketing campaigns delivered in the UK, Scandinavia, Germany, Switzerland, France and Italy by Tourism NT and SATC.
