Tourism NT’s new-look consumer travel website replaces www.travelnt.com, which was due for a complete renewal.
The new website is expected to see visits triple to three million visitors annually.
Modern, fresh and innovative, the new site is entirely mobile responsive, enabling access on the go.
The navigation menu has been simplified with more comprehensive, quality information now easily available. Improved map functionality and greater use of imagery and video are other aspects which make the website better to use than before.
To reduce duplication of content, Tourism NT also collaborated with other relevant Northern Territory departments on the new website such as NT Parks & Wildlife and Arts & Museums.
The result is a ‘Destination NT’ approach which, ensures the new website includes wider cross-government information for people working, investing, living, meeting and studying in the Northern Territory.
It means northernterritory.com now includes everything consumers will want to know about tourism in the Northern Territory as well as information about NT conventions, parks, arts, events and heritage/history.
Having one single source of comprehensive information provides will provide consumers with a better overall experience.
