The 2018 CrownBet Darwin Triple Crown Supercars will feature two huge nights of concerts and Aussie live music heavyweights.
Jet, Bliss n Eso, Thundamentals, The Rubens and Mallrat will play at the Darwin Rock & Race concerts on Saturday 16 June and Sunday 17 June at Hidden Valley Raceway.
The popular acts will hit the stage at the completion of each day of racing at the CrownBet Darwin Triple Crown V8 Supercars, which draws 40,000 spectators a year.
Jet and The Rubens will have the crowd rocking on the Saturday, while Bliss n Eso, Thundamentals and Mallrat will wrap up the next day with hip-hop beats.
Bliss n Eso’s Jonathan Notley (MC Bliss) said the band was stoked to be returning to Darwin for the special one-off performance for fans at the Triple Crown.
“The opportunity to perform at the Triple Crown is one we couldn’t refuse,” he said.
“Hidden Valley is one of the best events on the calendar and we are pumped to be heading back to Darwin to soak in the event and perform for fans.”
Through Northern Territory Major Events Company, the NT Government contributes just over $3 million every year to bring the Supercars to Darwin, an investment that returns $16 million to the Territory economy annually.
The CrownBet Darwin Triple Crown is held from 15-17 June, 2018.
