What is a famil?

Tourism NT operates a suite of famils in conjunction with its campaign partners, targeting two key audiences:

  • Senior managers and product managers - because they make the decisions on what destinations and experiences are promoted and sold
  • Front-line retail agents - because they deal face to face with customers and influence their holiday decisions

Famils are organised from all of the NT’s offshore and domestic markets as well as our key distribution partners. Most famils take place in the shoulder seasons from September to November and April to May.

Why take part in a famil?

The aim of each famil is to give you the opportunity to learn more about the NT. You’ll also discover new travel products to add to your offerings for your clients.

How do I take part in a famil?

You need to be a well-established NT seller who promotes the type of travel and experiences that offer the NT the most potential in your market. Participants are carefully selected, starting with recommendations from Tourism NT’s partners across every market.
